Upload Wizard: Cannot replace files

I corrected a graphics file twice, but the new upload wizard does not allow me overwriting the obsolete versions. Please delete:

You can only upload files with a size of up to -1 B. You tried to upload a file that is 424 KB.

Problem when my login is thrown off

I have experienced the following problem several times. If I am using the Upload Wizard to upload some images, Wikimedia sometimes automatically throws me off my login without telling me. If I then, without knowing that I've been thrown off, try to complete the upload, the wizard just returns an error message saying "You must be logged in to save files in the upload stash.". Yes, of course, I know that, but I WAS logged on, you just threw me off automatically without telling me. What's really annoying is that the wizard doesn't allow me to fix the problem by logging on and then attempting another upload of the same images I've already prepared for upload. Instead, I have to go to another page, logon, and then start the wizard procedure all over again from scratch. This is just not good enough - definitely a bug that needs to be fixed, and asap.

Go back option

I made an error inputting data in release right, get an (unhelpful) error message but no way to go back and fix it. Same problem with multiple files, copying data. Made a mistake, want to go back and correct it, not starts all over. Am giving up, again. Back to old form --Zoeannl (talk) 03:03, 25 May 2015 (UTC)

Name für Upload Datei wird nicht akzeptiert.

Auch nach Änderung des Dateinamens wird dieser nicht aktzeptiert, wie IMG 0809 Schlaubetal nahe Schlaubemühle.

Photo Upload Licence

How do I indicate a non-existent licence for an old photo that belongs to my family?

Hi Jetrev27, first of all it doesn't really matter who owns the physical photographs. The important question is: who owns the copyright? – which usually translates to: who took the photograph? If it was taken by a now deceased family member and you are the only heir (or all other potential heirs have agreed), {{PD-heirs}} may be the way to go. I'm not sure if the UploadWizard offers this as a license option, though. In that case, you may need to upload it with a different license and change that to {{PD-heirs}} immediately afterwards. In any case, please provide as much information about photo as possible (who took it when and where? if it was published before: when and where was it published first?). Not working

If the form gets a error that the file name already exists, the submit button disapears for ever and there is NO way to get i back - so you have to start all over again!
