Request: Please, name files with good file names, before you upload.
[edit]You recently uploaded this File:-i---i- (53606436734).jpg.
You later added [1] this file to Category:Files from Flickr with bad file names
Since you have used com:flickr2commons tool for many years, you know that users can change any file name before you upload the file(s). Additionally, any original file name can be changed with any "prefix" descriptive wording that users choose- which will create "good file names." This just takes a few seconds, before you upload a file.
Upload Wizard also allows user to change file names before uploading files.
This Category:Files from Flickr with bad file names already has over 45,000 files. You can help prevent creating even more work by other volunteers, by taking a little of your time to make good names before uploading files with "bad names." Can you do that? Thank you, -- Ooligan (talk) 00:26, 4 April 2024 (UTC)

A1Cafel, you know, you reasonably expected responses when you post to others talk pages. I checked to see if you responded, and you did not. Your behaviour is incredibly problematic, and can be seen on the ANU report. Your lack of response on this issue is not helping you in any way. - Chris.sherlock2 (talk) 05:57, 21 April 2024 (UTC)
- I will make use of the "Prefix selected names" function to added meaningful filenames before uploaded. Even I missed it, I will submit a file rename request to change it. --A1Cafel (talk) 02:13, 22 May 2024 (UTC)
Unblock request
[edit]- Thank you for your thoughtful unblock request. I'm leaning towards granting it. Before I do, however: there is still a section on your talk page, "Request: Please, name files with good file names, before you upload", that I think deserves a response. Please do so (and I expect you to respond to these sorts of things in the future; this is part of communication). Also going to cc for more input: @Bedivere, Chris.sherlock2, Infrogmation, RodRabelo7, and Strakhov: . —Mdaniels5757 (talk • contribs) 21:51, 21 May 2024 (UTC)
- Responded there. --A1Cafel (talk) 02:13, 22 May 2024 (UTC)

Unwelcome uploading behavior - Comportamiento de carga no deseado -Unwillkommenes Upload-Verhalten
[edit]3 minutes after I uploaded this album [2] from that same United States Deputy Secretary of Defense Flick account, you uploaded the next sequential Flickr album [3] from the same account. Both of these two albums have been available for you to upload, since May 23rd. You have done this same unwelcome behavior in the past, so I know it is not a coincidence. As you know through your personal experience of 10,000's of uploads, that there are 1,000's of Flickr accounts from which to choose new uploads. Please, do not upload on the same Flickr account at the same time that I am uploading those files. Thank you in advance, -- Ooligan (talk) 20:04, 4 June 2024 (UTC)
- I don't think this is unwelcoming, as everyone has the rights to choose the file of their uploads, but I will still try to do so. --A1Cafel (talk) 02:45, 5 June 2024 (UTC)
