Summary[edit]

Description Timelapse of the Lerwick Up Helly Aa morning procession, taken from the south end of Alexandra Building, Esplanade, Lerwick. The Jarl's Sqaud is seen heading south along the Esplanade where it seperates from the galley. They then continue to the Market Cross, Commercial Street to sing the Up Helly Aa song, then head back along Commercial Street and back down to the Esplanade once more to have photos taken with the galley. Following a rendition of Highland Cathedral by the Lerwick Pipe band the public is allowed to come in and mingle with the Jarl's Squad.
