Summary
[edit]DescriptionCarmen - Habanera ~ Violin Version!.webm |
English: Here is a violin version of Carmen's Habanera, written by Georges Bizet in 1875. It's also known as L'amour est un oiseau rebelle, or, "Love is a rebellious bird." It's a song about the ups and downs of love. The flip-flopping between minor and major keys helps exemplify this feeling. I hope you like it!
This is my first "fancier" video.. It took forever to edit everything to get the music to match. I got a little tired and frustrated towards the end..Hopefully no one notices! ^_^; I once missed my turn and ended up driving down a street that had this neat building on it! I had never seen it before, but decided I had to film a video here! It's the Westminster Castle, located in Westminster, Colorado. It was built originally to be a university, but now is the home to the Belleview Christian School (K–12). Isn't it a cool building?! The music was arranged from scores located here: http://imslp.org/wiki/Carmen_%28Bizet,_Georges%29 More specifically, this version were used primarily: http://imslp.nl/imglnks/usimg/f/f6/IMSLP110602-PMLP15769-Bizet_-_Carmen_-_Habanera_HV.pdf I also looked at Alain Jacques Creative Commons midi for ideas as well: http://imslp.org/wiki/Special:ImagefromIndex/299346 http://imslp.org/wiki/User:Alain.jacques As such, this video and all content is also in the Creative Commons.
