| Description |
English: Stop motion animation extract from 'The Reason I Collect'. Completed in 2008 and it's currently doing the festival circuit. Recently winning Vauxhall Auteur Theory Award - Runner up prize & the British Panorama Audience Award at LIAF 08. Initially it started as an installation piece 'Diary of a Hoarder' after I interviewed Paul Escott, a local artist and collector. Made with the kind support of The London Film & Video Workshop, Eye Film & Television, Lighthaven, friends & family. Filmed in a variety of places in between jobs, became a bit of a mission (but one I enjoyed!) animating in kitchens, living rooms, photographic darkrooms and studios to get it done. BIG THANKS to those who let me camp out at theirs!! Thanks also to Alex Burnett & Advocate Art for the use of the Santa Claus Card:-) |
