What is the meaning of this project page? A hoax, a joke? --Túrelio (talk) 09:25, 22 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Funnily enough, Túrelio, one of the seniors from Wikinews, Brian McNeil, thought the same. Essentially, the "TourBusStop" is nothing more than a guided tour around the WMF websites, and to be honest, the project is bloody useless, considering the user who seems to be working on it simply turns up at the relevant website, doesn't ask if we WANT a TourBusStop, just sticks one there, and then gets abusive with our staff when we delete it. This is an utterly hopeless project, and a guided tour of the WMF could be served by much better means. BarkingFish (talk) 19:17, 27 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
TourBusStop helped me find Wikisource again because I had forgotten the name.

Editing was my profession.

There are contradictory editing rules at the various Wikis. My edits are minor for this reason.

The debate about dashes, en dashes and em dashes is in its sixth year. That is so sad.

Wikinews Tour Bus Stop removed (again, apparently)[edit]

Hi. I've just tried to follow this tour, got to the Wikinews stop and it doesn't exist. I've removed it again, apparently someone called BarkingFish already took it out once, and someone else, Zhuyifei1999, put it back, marked (opted out), without realising that there was NO PAGE THERE to go to. Hopeless... Sunil The Mongoose (talk) 13:57, 29 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
