Summary

English: This assignment was to construct the title of a novel through Local Kineticism—the distortion or manipulation of individual letter forms. The challenge of the project was to only use geometric shapes or forms to construct the words, creating letters that implied meaning to the title.
I chose the book 100 Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, inspired by the magical realism of his writing style. This Stop-Motion sequence shows each individual letter coming together to reveal the final title.
