Description
Dictary land use vs. GDP per capita, 2013. The share of global habitable land which would be required for agriculture if everyone in the world adopted the average diet of a given country versus gross domestic product (GDP) per capita, measured in constant international-$. We currently use approximately 50% of habitable land for agriculture, as shown by the horizontal line.
