Summary[edit]

Description
English: Organic Metal This is a scanning electron image of Nickel coated polymer resist used in Electron Beam Lithography. Prolonged exposure cross-links the backbone of the polymer, turning a positive tone resist into a negative tone resist. Electron beam lithography is used routinely to define electrodes to contact nanomaterials for measurement. This scanning electron micrograph was taken on the Zeiss Supra Scanning Electron Microscope in the Advanced Microscopy Lab in Trinity College Dublin
