Description
English: Comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan–ATLAS) has now grown a tail and is currently in the constellation of Virgo as of May 11, 2024, 165,178,244 miles (265,828,617 kilometers) from Earth. The comet is expected to be visible to the naked eye on September 27, 2024, when it will pass perihelion at a distance of 0.39 AU (58 million km; 36 million mi). This time-lapse was captured over a 70-minute period.
