For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Ingenieure mit Konstruktionsplänen ADN-ZB Thieme 29.3.74 Karl-Marx-Stadt: Millionen auf dem Reißbrett gewonnen- Im Wohnungsbaukombinat "Wilhelm Pieck" Karl-Marx-Stadt haben sich die Arbeitsgruppen das Ziel gestellt, vorhandene Projekte und Technologien bereits am Reißbrett zu rationalisieren und damit Millionenwerte zu gewinnen. In der Arbeitsgruppe Gesellschaftsbauten (Foto) beraten Architekt Heinz Voigtmann, Innenarchitekt Rolf Scheinfuß, Bauingenieur Frank Milster und die technische Zeichnerin Sabine Schramm (vlnr) über Einsparungen am Typenprojetk für Polytechnische Schulen. 450.000 Mark können pro Schule gespart werden, mit gleichem Aufwand fünf statt bisher 4 Schulen gebaut werden.
