For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Berlin, Zeitungslektüre zur Abschaffung der Lebensmittelkarten Zentralbild Zühlsdorf 29.5.1958 Die Meinung der Berliner zur Abschaffung der Lebensmittelkarten. Unser Reporter besuchte das Werk für Fernmeldewesen in Berlin-Oberschöneweide und sprach mit den Kollegen über das Gesetz zur Abschaffung der Lebensmittelkarten. UBz: Durch diese Verordnung hört für uns Frauen die Rechnerei mit den Karten auf. Trotz eines Ausgleiches werden unsere Lohngruppen verbessert. Jetzt kommt es auch für uns darauf an, immer noch besser zu arbeiten, so dass die Preise weiter gesenkt werden können, das ist die Meinung der Kolleginnen.
