Info created by Joaquim Alves Gaspar - uploaded and nominated by Alvesgaspar. I nominate this picture for the simplicity and balance of its composition. Depth is given to the two-dimensional silhouette by the light dimly reflected in the ground. The photo was taken with a Rolleicord-type camera, those with twin lenses and square negatives. Since the negative was lost, this picture is a scanned image of a paper copy, only corrected for scratches and white dots. The original quality image was slightly cropped at the top as suggested by Roger McLassus.
