Allow overwriting of language maps

I want to make updates in the files listed below, because Armenian is no longer spoken over a territory in Azerbaijan since 2023, after the flight of Nagorno-Karabakh Armenians and the collapse of the breakaway Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh (Republic of Artsakh) in 2023. (The maps lumped together, have the same design and color pattern.)

@Oirattas: File:Indo-European Language Family Branches in Eurasia.png is already able to be overwritten by anyone, and the Artsakh change is there. Thank you for checking the file, turns out that my browser (Chrome) somehow displays both the original and the new version as the same grey picture, even after refreshing/restarting the browser/restarting the computer (not because I tried to debug it , I just went to sleep)... I checked on Firefox and it displays properly. So I DID upload the correct version after all. You're probably right that the template isn't limited, I just thought so because the uploader refused upload, but the real reason was that I was uploading the same exact (correct) file I uploaded before and it logically didn't let me. So thank you for helping me find the problem. I have re-done the path elements inside this SVG so that the ViewBox and all transforms have been removed. This way, the listed coordinates in the <path> element are exactly what appears in the image. I have also resized the image so that it is a 250×250px square. Allow overwriting of File:Xterm.png

This image is currently encoded as 32-bits-per-pixel RGBA. This is extremely stupid, for two reasons. First, this image is completely opaque, making the storage of any alpha information completely unnecessary. Second, this image is entirely comprised of just these four colors:   ,   ,   , and   . This allows us to re-encode the image in 2-bits-per-pixel Palette mode. WAY more space-efficient. I used OxiPNG and ZopfliPNG to perform the transformation, and the image file shrank to 8 KB. The current file on Wikimedia Commons is terribly wrong. There is an official jpg version of the flag from the CTUSF offcial website https://www.ctusf.org.tw/_images/about/flag.jpg, I hope to upload a new, better and more accurate one to Wikimedia Commons, thank you. Actully, that version is also wrong. If you see the "Blue sky with white sun" emblem in the flag, you will find out that in the actual CTUSF version of the emblem, the spikes are actully longer. You can compare this file with File:Logo of Chinese Taipei University Sports Federation.svg. I don't know why, and the CTUSF didin't explain the reason for this difference, but the file should present the real outlook of the flag. Thank you. MarsAoki (talk) 12:19, 9 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Since 2014, Chinese Olympic Committee has changed their emblem. They changed the ratio between PRC national flag and the Olympic Rings. You can find the new version in this PDF file https://new.inews.gtimg.com/tnews/9a4a01a8/4206/9a4a01a8-4206-4b63-bca6-7edf9c4423c8.pdf(Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics and Paralympics - Guidelines for the protection of rights). I've once uploaded the new version to Wikimedia Commons but somehow got deleted. I hope to upload a new, better and more accurate one to Wikimedia Commons, thank you. Allow overwriting File:ASEAN and East Timor.svg

User:Paul_012 deemed, the maps of File:ASEAN and East Timor.svg, File:ASEAN and Sri Lanka.svg, and File:ASEAN and Papua New Guinea (map) - since 2013.svg inappropriate and confusing as it shows South and Southeast Asia as a floating island with the rest of Asia missing. Making it a ineffective and confusing locator map, unlike its EU accession map counterparts. As uploader of the latter two, I would like to standardize this. In theory it should look like this. Hello, I originally created the files File:CFL OTT Jersey.png and File:CFL EDM Jersey.png on Wikipedia but another user transferred them to Wikipedia Commons. I am trying to make updates to the images based on the 2024 uniforms, but the error message states that only the original uploader is able to do this.
